El blanco deja de ser silencioso. Lo que a la distancia parece uniforme, de cerca se abre en capas, texturas y gestos que construyen relieve. No hay superficie lisa. Hay historia, trabajo y repetición.
Detrás de cada prenda hay kilómetros de hilo que nadie cuenta. Esa medida, invisible en el precio y ausente en la etiqueta, es la unidad real del trabajo textil: el tiempo de manos que estiran, tuercen, enrollan fibra. Un trabajo que la industria aprendió a borrar antes de que la tela llegara a existir.
Esta obra trabaja en sentido contrario. Los fragmentos descartados vuelven como presencia formando capas. El blanco que muchas veces se lee como neutro se convierte en memoria de taller, huella de un hacer que no se ve pero que tiene peso, espesor, medida.
Para mí el blanco no es ausencia, es construcción. Una manera de decir que lo que no se ve también ocupa lugar y que el trabajo invisible, si se lo mira con atención, tiene la densidad de un paisaje.

White stops being silent. What appears uniform from a distance opens up, up close, into layers, textures, and gestures that build relief. There is no smooth surface. There is history, labor, and repetition.
Behind every garment there are kilometers of thread that no one counts. That measure, invisible in the price and absent from the label, is the real unit of textile work; the time of hands that stretch, twist, and wind fiber. Labor that the industry learned to erase before the cloth even came to exist.
This work moves in the opposite direction. Discarded fragments return as presence, forming layers. The white that is so often read as neutral becomes workshop memory, the trace of a making that cannot be seen but has weight, depth, measure.
For me, white is not absence, it is construction. A way of saying that what cannot be seen still takes up space, and that invisible labor, if looked at with care, has the density of a landscape.
